Boarding & Daycare: Safe, Comfortable Care When You’re Away

Whether you're traveling, working long hours, or just need a safe place for your pet to stay during the day, our boarding and daycare services offer peace of mind and loving supervision. Your pet will be treated like family in a clean, secure, and pet-friendly environment—so you can be worry-free while you're away.

What’s Included in Boarding?

Our veterinary-supervised boarding facility is designed to keep pets safe, healthy, and comfortable. We provide:

  • Individual, climate-controlled accommodations

  • Soft bedding and clean sleeping areas

  • Scheduled feedings and fresh water

  • Daily wellness checks by trained staff

  • Medication administration if needed

  • Optional medical oversight for pets with health needs

We welcome both dogs and cats, and we’ll tailor your pet’s stay based on their personality, activity level, and special needs.

What Is Pet Daycare?

Our daycare program gives pets structured playtime, social interaction, and mental stimulation while you're at work or away for the day. Benefits include:

  • Supervised group play or individual attention

  • Regular potty breaks and walks

  • Enrichment activities to reduce boredom

  • Safe, monitored play areas

Daycare is ideal for energetic pets, puppies in training, or pets who simply prefer not to be alone at home.

Why Choose Us?

Unlike traditional kennels, our facility is connected to a veterinary hospital, so you have the added reassurance of on-site medical care if your pet needs it. We pride ourselves on:

  • Clean, secure, and low-stress accommodations

  • Experienced staff trained in pet safety and behavior

  • Flexible options for short- or long-term stays

We’re also happy to accommodate special diets, mobility needs, or anxiety concerns—just let us know in advance.

What to Bring

When boarding or dropping off for daycare, we recommend bringing:

  • Your pet’s regular food (to avoid stomach upset)

  • Any medications or supplements

  • A favorite toy or small blanket (optional)

All pets must be current on vaccinations and parasite prevention. If your pet needs an update, we can take care of that before their stay.

Whether it’s for a few hours or several days, you can trust us to care for your pet like one of our own—with plenty of attention, comfort, and love.

Keeping your pet healthy starts with you and a visit to your veterinary doctor for a wellness exam. Here at Cottage Pet Hospital Regular wellness exams can help detect problems in its early stages, which is especially important with older patients. A typical wellness exam can include a physical exam, vaccinations, blood tests, urinalysis, and a parasite screening. These wellness checks and vaccinations can help prevent life-threatening diseases. Without prevention, your pet could become very sick and can be very expensive to treat. Only a professional can provide a proper evaluation of your furbaby's overall health. Your veterinarian can offer recommendations for your pet based on their age, sex, and breed. Regular exams can offer suggestions specifically made for your pet's diet, playtime, and lifestyle based on their health and risk factors.
